Geotechnical drillers and Geoenvironmental drillers are fantastic when you need them, and there are plenty of good drillers in WA. However, engineering, agricultural and environmental professionals frequently and infrequently need something in between a machine excavated test pit and a drilling contractor, less back-breaking than manual excavation techniques and simple enough an engineer or technician can use after some straight forwards practical training and inductions. WIN Drilling was borne from that requirement.

 

Need to sample the soils at a few or many locations to 2.5 +meters depth but don't want to disturb the soils or site with an excavator, need to install groundwater monitoring but it needs to be quicker or less back-breaking than hand augers and cheaper than mobilising drillers and equipment to site.  Then consider our Auger sample drill mounted to a Ford Ranger.

Want to log the soils accurately, collect large samples and record density/stiffness data as you go, consider our window sample rig for holes down to a depth of 3m. 

 

Need inexpensive continuous soil density information at multiple locations however CPT testing is overkill and cost-prohibitive and DCP's are slow and unreliable beyond 2m. Then Consider our SPT/DPSH/DMT probe rig.
